Mineral oil — cheapest, derived directly from crude. Good for older 100–125cc commuters with carburettors. Change every 2,500 km.
Semi-synthetic — blended for better heat resistance and longer life. Ideal for 125–200cc bikes and entry-level cars. Change every 4,000–5,000 km.
Fully synthetic — engineered molecules, the best protection. Required for high-CC bikes (KTM, Royal Enfield Himalayan, sport tourers) and most modern cars. Change every 7,500–10,000 km.
